Hi, new here

I've just completed my master practioner certification for NLP. I have 11 years experience as a Tarot consultant and want to start taking clients again.

The challenge? I've had a serious financial setback, and now have found myself facing all kinds of financial drama that has launched me into a depression. Imagine, a depressed life coach! It'd be funny if it wasn't me. (Ok, I'll admit it's still funny even if it is me. At least I'm not so down I can't laugh at my own irony.)

I'm learning EFT and have been tapping myself daily, as well as using NLP and other techniques I know to lift myself out of the blues. It just seems a lot easier to do it with other people than with myself. This has me doubting my own ability to help others, and I'm aware of the viscious cycle giving into that doubt could start. I think I could use some help, but I've been afraid to ask for it since I worry it means my own skills aren't as up to scratch as I thought they were.

Coaches and counselors are human beings too. I know I'm not the only one who's imperfect. What do we do with our own blues? Is it uncommon for a new consultant to be challenged with perfectionism, feeling down, the same kind of things we help clients with? Do other coaches ever struggle with this, have a harder time doing for themselves what we do for others, or reaching out for help ourselves?

    You're fine... trust me.
We ALL have "stuff" to work through, and you sound v. grounded to me.
What you may NOT be conscious of at the moment is allowing your inner divinity to guide you as you know you have in the past. When the poo hits the fan, the ego gets anxious for itself, wants to find blame somewhere, and it blame can't be found out in the world, guess where the ego goes as a last resort?
    Right. YOU'RE the blame!
Don't buy the b.s. your ego is flinging.
    Go back to the basics...
Trust your heart and filter your thoughts through the heart -- then you can trust your mind when you can FEEL your life again with your heart!

Just a thought -- and I'm open to coaching you if you're open to be coached -- have you ever had a puppy? How did you train it? How long did it take before your puppy could be counted on to follow your commands?

Check out my website... and get back to me later.
